Rogue Wave Woodworks is a one-woman woodworking studio based on Quadra Island, where Christine Walsh crafts unique wooden treasures. Specializing in functional, handcrafted items, Christine draws inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding her island studio. Christine designs each item with thoughtful attention to detail and quality. Every piece that leaves the shop is a reflection of Christine’s dedication to craftsmanship, a deep respect for the materials she works with, and the timeless beauty of wood.
I make a variety of wood items, my most popular items being my salt and peppermills, wooden cheese slicers, and wooden board games. I also sell my hand etched glasses. All of my woodwork is done using traditional techniques (I do not use any computerized automation machines like CNC's or lazers). I use furniture grade hardwoods and then everything is made myself with a variety of woodworking tools in my small workshop.
