Finding her inspiration in the wonder of the natural world surrounding her home on Gabriola island and beyond - Spring Tide Creations wants you to feel the connection with our animal friends through her artwork. Using a variety of mediums, there is sure to be be something that you will fall in love with in her unique and whimsical collection.
I work in both 2D and 3D, creating one of a kind large scale acrylic paintings, watercolour paintings and completely unique sculptures in polymer clay and driftwood featuring local, west coast animals and scenery. My work has been described as whimsical but with just the right amount of realism to bring the viewer a real sense of connection with a hint of nostalgia as the images are often reminiscent of picture storybook worlds.
