Radjuli is a drummer, leather seamstress, community hub, and all-around nice person who has been working to create the perfect leather accessory since moving to the Island in 2006. What began as a way to support herself on tour eventually grew into a full-time occupation. Working primarily with offcuts from other local manufacturers, Radjuli creates fabulous and practical bags, wallets, belts, and accessories that transcend traditional gender and genre boundaries.
All of my products are designed, cut, sewn, and finished by me in my little studio in Fernwood. I work with local upholsterers and bootmakers to recycle their scraps into long-lasting, usable items like wallets, bags, pouches, home decor pieces, and custom tool holsters. I source the leather for my belts and bags from tannery seconds, turning flaws—like scars and dye mismatches—into features that make each piece unique.
