My name is Wendy Yates and I am a self taught metal stamping/silverware jewelry artist based out of Nanoose Bay BC. I have been collecting,hammering and selling silverware since 2012. My work is a variety of items repurposed from vintage silver flatware including coffee and teaspoons, cheese knives, bookmarks, spoon rings and fork bracelets. I love creating one of a kind pieces designed to make people smile.
I hand hammer pieces of vintage silverware with cute witty phrases to make eating more fun. They make perfect gifts for friends, birthdays, weddings or any occasion. I also forge rings from vintage spoons and bracelets from antique forks. I have over 50 alphabet fonts and hundreds of design stamps to make my pieces unique, different and one of a kind. I am the sole creator, designer, producer and marketer at Old’s Cool Designs.
