NIYIEM (nigh-eem) meaning creativity is a dreamed up word of moments, values and people that caused Darya's making to come into being and is a modern jewelry brand based on Vancouver Island for minimalist souls who love a unique style. Designed and handmade with quality materials and attention to detail each piece is a blend of architectural shape, rich colour and femininity.
I use acetate, polymer clay and mixed metals (14kt gold filled, sterling silver and brass) together in unexpected ways to create modern, street style jewelry. All of my jewelry is non toxic, hypoallergenic and cut, shaped, sanded, ground, polished and assembled by hand in my eco studio in Royston. All of the materials except polymer clay are biodegradable or recyclable.
