My memories of learning to sew from my grandmother and mother still inspire my creativity. Little did I know how passionate I would become with not only sewing but all things textile! Through trial and error, I have landed on using natural fibres; linen being my favourite, but cottons, silks and wools are part of my repertoire as well. My love of learning has taken me down the path of eco dying and printing!
The most unique parts of my craft are needle felting on wool coats. I crochet or knit designs that are felted on my coats. Eco printing on silk, linen or cotton scarves is another part of my process. I also create a line of clothing from linens, cottons sometimes adding embellishments in sashiko stitching.
