Jocelyn Pransky is a full time resin artist working and living in Victoria, drawing inspiration from the abundance of sea and floral scapes on the West Coast. She grew up using gorgeous pottery pieces her Mother made, that combined art and function wonderfully, and started a lifelong love of beautiful homewares. The discovery of resin in 2018 became an instant passion, and she started jmp flow+design to create pieces that feel both abstract and organic.
I create resin homewares and art using a fluid pouring technique combining food safe resin with wood, metal, or ceramic including serving boards, serving trays, lazy susans, trinket dishes, coasters, wall art, ornaments, keychains, and magnets. This year I am adding laser engraved tumblers which feature my ocean and floral drawings, often inspired from my photography, which are then laser etched in my studio.
