A Canadian artist, Jill was born in Winnipeg in 1966 and currently lives on Vancouver Island. She has worked with a variety of mediums including; acrylics, Chinese Brush Painting and ceramics, with her current focus being epoxy resin ocean inspired artwork as well as unique homewares. Although mostly self taught Jill has studied under several excellent teachers. From classes at local colleges to workshops in China, California and Colorado, she continues to explore new methods and ideas. Jill has shown work in California and on Vancouver Island including four Originals Only Fine Art shows in Comox, the Campbell River Art Expo, Woodland Gardens Artisan Festivals as well as the Filberg Festival.
I work with epoxy resin in a fluid ocean and river inspired manner creating one of a kind homewares; charcuterie board and trays, as well as art pieces.
