We are a family owned and operated meadery that specializes in the usage of all natural local ingredients in honey wine. We use blackberry and wildflower honey extracted from a local apiary on Saltspring Island and in the Fraser Valley. We add a bounty of herbs, berries, and fruits grown on Saltspring. No sulphites or other preservatives have been added to the mead, so the customer feels as good as the honey wine tastes!
Hearth and Fire is our warming spiced mead which pairs perfectly with fruits, apple pie, and peach crumble. Having won double gold at the 2023 All Canadian Wine Competition, it makes for a delightfully warming experience. Our second mead is called Midnight Dream and it is a balance between floral acidity and honey tones with a strong raspberry finish. This mead is an excellent summer spritzer on the rocks with either sparkling water or prosecco!
