"I have been a seamstress for most of my life. I grew up with a Mom who can sew circles around most folks - so I learned young. I was always cutting up my older outfits and turning them into a new, fabulous look! For the past few years I have been working with Vintage Linens. I made some sweet smock tops and got stopped on the street so often with people asking about them that I was encouraged to start my own Etsy Shop. So about 14 months later my shop is doing well and I am often busy with custom commissions. I Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle all forms of Vintage Linens and Trims. I am constantly hunting for more linens at second hand stores all over the lower mainland and the Island. Hope you like my creations!"
"Each Dimity item of apparel is hand-crafted from Vintage Linens. I only use %100 cotton - with the exception of a few trims. Each garment is carefully laid out before a pattern is cut and assembled to feature the most charming aspects of the given linens. I also add some custom embroidery designs to some of my garments with my amazing Pfaff Embroidery Machine. I create all of my designs in my darling re-furbished 1972 Camper Trailer named Fanny. I make a few sizes for women of all ages and the focus is on style and comfort. Every article has pockets!"
