I am Vancouver Island based craftsman living in Nanoose Bay. I began my woodworking career after retiring and moving here from Vancouver in 2018.
I work exclusively with Vancouver Island grown wood, primarily Arbutus and Bigleaf Maple. I source all of my wood from friends, neighbours and people I have met through my craft. I get great satisfaction by starting with a log from a tree blown down in the forest and finishing with a beautiful and functional piece of art.
