As an established arts and craft festival in its 26th year, the Filberg Festival also appreciates and respects the craft of the musician and has become increasingly well-known for its music program.

The 2007 line up included such acts as Bruce Cockburn, Murray McLauchlin, Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne, Michael Kaeshammer, Barney Bentall and secret, surprise guest Sylvia Tyson during the Great Canadian Songs concert.

There are three active performance areas throughout the Festival - the Mainstage, the Garden Stage, and the Kids Area. All are nicely separated over the nine acre site. All stages are shaded and comfortable, and the quality of sound provided by Pacific Audio Works is exceptional - many performers comment that the Filberg Festival is their favourite performance experience.

In the Kids Area, families learn and play together, guided by quality performers such as Valdy, Filetta Fish, Meeks Family Circus and the Trollsons. A creative "make-it" activity centre is also active during the four days. A second generation of children is now enjoying the fun because of their parents' childhood experiences - this is a "must-do" part of summer in the Comox Valley!
